The Add On’s inverter system can get up to maximum capacity almost immediately, making it ideal for extremely hot days.
The system is engineered to operate under harsh conditions and has an operating range up to 50oC.
A coated louvered grille guard allows for better airflow and protection against extreme weather conditions.
The indoor units have a range of duct adaptor options that suit most duct works, making installation flexible.
The indoor and outdoor coils are protected by a blue fin epoxy coat.
The unit continues to operate at 85% more capacity when the weather is 46°C when compared to conventional inverter systems.

I chose this system after weeks of research and reading reviews. Precise temperature control of every room, automatic fan speed control depending on how many dampers are open gives unparalleled efficiency. The options in the Que control system leaves nothing out, except maybe for Google assistant compatibility, even the technical details provided for the refrigeration engineer means they don’t need diagnostic tools to find faults. When the compressor is running flat out, it is quite loud, but if that is a problem, there is a quiet mode option that drops the sound levels right down. It never actually runs flat out for very long though as it very quickly brings the rooms to temperature then drops down to a level that maintains the temperature perfectly. I’ve only had this system a few months over winter and it has performed faultlessly so far. Expensive, yes, but good value. High efficiency, good warranty, the Que control system can receive updates over the internet and I hope they decide to include Google Assistant compatibility soon as that would make this system perfect. I would recommend this system to anyone prepared to pay for what they want.
We rarely turn on all rooms at once, so the rooms which are on, get cooled or heated very, very quickly even when it is very hot outside. The zone control is very important for us as we don’t have to cool/heat the whole house and we can have the bedroom rooms constantly three degrees cooler than the living areas. We have it serviced once a year and apart from one zone motor that broke cost us $ 350 to repair, it has not had any repairs. When our son and his wife moved in their own house they only wanted such an aircon with zone control. They have their aircon now for one year and are also very happy.
This top of range ducted Home Unit works well and with a simple app makes controlling your temperature room by room a breeze. The Platinum Que though has a long start up before cooling the house.
