Toshiba’s split system range includes three types of unit; N3KV Inverter High Wall, BKVS Inverter High Wall and BKV Inverter High Wall. These units are easy to maintain and include remote sensors for localised comfort.

The refrigerant used in these units, R410A, has a lower environmental impact than others. The units themselves are designed to cope under harsh environmental conditions, continuing to perform even when outdoor temperatures reach 46°C for cooling or as low as -15°C for heating. Their filters absorb and break down bad odours such as smoke, ammonia, food and pet smells, providing multi-faceted comfort.

Multi-systems connect to Multiple Indoor Units. Toshiba’s units provide a heating and cooling solution for multiple rooms, using only one outdoor unit to operate 2, 3, 4 or 5 indoor units. Indoor units that can be attached to these include; Inverter High Wall, Inverter Ducted, Inverter Cassette and Inverter Console, providing a wide range of solutions for different spaces.

Toshiba’s units offer intelligent, advanced features including a child lock, flexible air inlets and efficient DC compressors. Most of the connecting indoor units have self-cleaning functions and auto diagnosis, making them low maintenance and cost-efficient.

Featuring a neat appearance, Toshiba’s Inverter Ducted System offer flexible installation, making them ideal for a wide array of layouts including narrow spaces, unusually shaped rooms and those with obstacles.

Toshiba offer both heating and cooling in their ducted units, providing year ‘round comfort and improved air quality. Compressor technology allows a rapid heating and cooling function which temporarily increases power, quickly reaching the desired temperature to deliver comfort.

Toshiba offer a flexible range of wired and wireless controller options including; RBC-AMS54E-ES, RBC-AMS41E, RBC-AMT32E, and RBC-AS21E2. Some of these models are Multi Use, with a group of up to 8 indoor units able to be connected. A self-diagnosis function helps identify any issues.

Large buttons on some controllers provide accessibility for those with sight impairment. An inbuilt room temperature sensor has been placed in the controller body, allowing any auto adjustments to be made based on where you are in the room, when you have the controller with you. Some models can help reduce energy consumption when set to a power saving mode ,which is anywhere between 50-100% of full operating mode.

Toshiba’s VRF systems are built for large homes or buildings. They can provide air conditioning for apartment or office blocks, extending their reach and power as needed. The SMMSe (Super Modular Multi System) 2 pipe heat pump can cover up to 157.0 kW, while the Mini VRF 2 pipe heat pump offers up to 13 outdoor models with a total combination of 81 units.

The DC motor is highly efficient, delivering comfort with a decrease in energy consumption. Intelligent VRF controls continually adjust the operation of indoor and outdoor units, based on feedback from sensors, thus delivering comfort that matches the environment.

Toshiba offers a wide range of differing capacities in their Ceiling Cassette systems. The indoor units are built to be discrete and suit multiple applications.

This range incorporates DC Twin Rotary compressors in all outdoor units, making them highly efficient and compatible with the high-density refrigerant R-410A. The outdoor units are built to withstand the harsh Australian climate.

Toshiba’s Under Ceiling System are suspended indoor units ideally suited for light commercial use. They feature quiet operation and an automatic swing mode, to ensure airflow rapidly reaches all areas of a space.

These systems are easy to install, feature a long life filter and gradually dehumidify the space, making it more comfortable. Toshiba have built these units to operate quietly and unobtrusively.

Toshiba offer a range of commercial controllers that can centrally control a single indoor unit or up to 8 indoor units. Their range includes; TCB-SC642TLE2, TCB-EXS21TLE, BMS-SM1280HTLE; BMS-SM1280ETLE, BMS-CT512IE; BMS-TP0641PWE, RBC-AX32U(w)-E, RBC-AX33CE and TCB-AX32E2. These models come in a range of prices, offering both comfort and energy saving features with a user friendly interface.

The range includes different central control solutions that can be used to for a large number of indoor units. They can be placed in a central location such as a reception area, engineering room or office for easy access. Programming schedules can be used to save on energy use during holiday periods.
