A Sound Reduction System reduces noise, providing incremental airflow adjustments when zones are turned off.
A smart preheat delay function heats the coil up before the fan comes on, removing cold air that may usually blow out during start up.
The energy saving features may, over 5 years, save users up to $4,500 on electricity costs for cooling alone, compared with other air conditioning technology. They state that their inverter technology is up to 75% more efficient than conventional fixed speed air conditioners.
A Tru-Inverter gets to the desired temperature faster, smoother and maintains temps within ±0.3oC at the sensor location.
The QUE has the ability for individual temperature control built in as standard.
The control platform offers innovations and features such as humidity sensors.

Actron system was the most expensive that we investigated but our research has paid off. Installation was quick and as per schedule. The system is excellent, especially being able to run just the master bedroom without needing to dump cold air elsewhere at night. Controlling the system from my phone makes life easy when we leave the home and forget to switch it off. Location of master controller at the top of the stairs is possibly the only issue as it reads the temperature as being higher there than the rest of the house.
Friends who have an older version of this system swore by it so we looked into an Actron unit. We looked extensively at a variety of products but settled on the Actron QUE ERQ3-17AS 16.55kW single phase unit. We have 5 zones 3 x BR’s, Entrance & Living Room.
12 months later we are still very happy with it after a summer and winter using the system. We previously just had a split system in the living room only and just heating that space costs almost comparable with what we are now doing the whole house. The outdoor unit is on the outside of the master bedroom wall and we never hear it.
We got the QUE system and upgraded to have the controllers in each room instead of just the sensor but we honestly rarely use them. The master controller is very cool visually and functionally but the app on our phone is pretty much the main way we use the system whether that be outside of the home, laying in bed or on the couch. It’s just easier and more native than using the other controllers.
Ideally and hopefully they one day further integrate what is already a great system with Google home, Siri etc. and/or add the other system information found on the master controller into the app none of which is really important but nice to know.
Had this installed a few months back and absolutely love it. Heats and cools our home with aplomb and the multi zone set up is sensational. Love the ability to utilise the app to turn on/off and adjust the zones as necessary. Cannot fault.
