A factory-installed, variable-speed drive, maximises chiller efficiency, with electric power consumption dropping dramatically when the motor speed slows.
Carrier provides Revit® Building Information Modeling (BIM) drawings for their entire range of chillers. This allows them to evaluate building alternatives and work collaboratively with clients.
Water-cooled chillers connect via a BACnet® system, allowing them to easily to integrate into automated systems.
Can be used in both small and large spaces including offices, libraries, art galleries, community centres, apartment blocks, shopping centres and nursing homes.
Units with heat recovery capabilities can produce chilled water, controlled to a specified temperature, while simultaneously generating hot water as a by-product of the refrigeration cycle.
Heat recovery captures energy that would otherwise be wasted. This increases the overall system efficiency and results in high COPs exceeding 5.0.

This is a 29 year old unit that still works good by providing cool air when needed. It gets serviced about once a year at minimum cost so far, however my a/c man did say that it will need to be converted over to the newer coolant this coming year.
I decided on a Carrier split system for heating and cooling in an older ranch with electric baseboard heat only. Best decision ever!! It’s efficient and cheaper to operate than the new Ruud gas system in my old condo. The heat is so warm. It’s not anything like the old heat pumps that seemed to throw cool air for heat. My old condo and my house are about the same size. Both are on slabs. My heating/cooling bills at the house are half of the condo’s. What a blessing. Thank you Carrier!!
We purchased ours give or take 8 years ago. It was best deal in our price range and for size wise in comparison to the square footage of our home. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase or replace their existing one.
