Optional Digital Compressor

A digital compressor provides unloading and reduced compressor cycling. These ultimately provide exceptional building load match and higher compressor reliability.

Diagnostics

The remote handheld diagnostic unit provides expanded information on virtually every aspect of operation. This helps technicians to diagnose problems quickly and set up protocols to prevent them from occurring.

User Friendly Controls

The Touch Pilot display is an easy to use touch screen interface. Through it users can easily access data for configuration, maintenance, service, setpoint, time schedule, alarm history and status.

Flexible Controls

Several display options are available, including the Scrolling Marquee (standard display), Touch PilotTM, and Navigator handheld controller. These greatly reduce start-up time and provide a complete overview of the system in order to identify any problems.

I bought the unit the found it one of the best in price compared to all other major brands and good quality and features. Compared to other big brands this is best option.

Reliable

This is a 29 year old unit that still works good by providing cool air when needed. It gets serviced about once a year at minimum cost so far, however my a/c man did say that it will need to be converted over to the newer coolant this coming year.

Thank you

I decided on a Carrier split system for heating and cooling in an older ranch with electric baseboard heat only. Best decision ever!! It’s efficient and cheaper to operate than the new Ruud gas system in my old condo. The heat is so warm. It’s not anything like the old heat pumps that seemed to throw cool air for heat. My old condo and my house are about the same size. Both are on slabs. My heating/cooling bills at the house are half of the condos. What a blessing. Thank you Carrier!!
