A sensor built into the remote controller reads the temperature around the controller and uses the information to regulate the temperature of the room, delivering comfort and efficiency.
A double filtration system removes dust particles and common household odours from the air, reducing triggers for allergy and asthma sufferers.
A self-cleaning mode works to removes moisture, inhibiting mould that might usually form on the indoor unit.
The outdoor unit completes a particles removal cycle and then performs a reverse rotation, helping to keep the unit clean and running effectively, without obstacles.
This mode maintains comfort while stepping down the electrical frequency and fan speeds, allowing for more economical management of running costs
Larger models have a long distance air flow of up to 12 metres. This smoothly circulates the air around the room and into hard to reach places.
These motors are brushless and designed to use electricity efficiently, reducing running costs.

I decided on a Carrier split system for heating and cooling in an older ranch with electric baseboard heat only. Best decision ever!! It’s efficient and cheaper to operate than the new Ruud gas system in my old condo. The heat is so warm. It’s not anything like the old heat pumps that seemed to throw cool air for heat. My old condo and my house are about the same size. Both are on slabs. My heating/cooling bills at the house are half of the condos. What a blessing. Thank you Carrier!!
Carrier air conditioning is worldwide; they have great products for the home and commercial use. I have used them both for commercial and at my house and they are like the bunny. They keep going and going. But when I needed service on both they took a long time to service. If they would improve on the service they would stand above the others.
We have been in our house for 2 years and everything has been working well, both the heat and the air conditioner. The size that was recommended is perfect for the size of our house. It was installed in a good location at the side of the house about a foot above the ground on a gravel pad.
