To avoid accidental waste certain units also include a lock system and temperature limits. Daikin have been acknowledged by the Sensitive Choice program for their air filtration and purification technology.

Kaden’s residential range features energy saving innovations including the ‘Follow Me’ airflow, which is directed toward users by two movable blades. This evenly regulate the room’s temperature to avoid sharp temperature fluctuations.

Split Systems

Daikin’s split system range has 8 models, including the US7 Series; Zena Series; Cora Series; Alira Series; Daikin Lite Series; Nexura Series and Floor Standing Series. Daikin’s split systems are energy efficient, and like Kaden they offer capacities for all types of small and larger homes, in varied Australian climates.

Kaden have designed an efficient split system range, the KS Series – Reverse Cycle. This range has filters that help to remove the impact of allergens. While Kaden’s range is not as vast as Daikin’s, their units feature washable filters and an auto defrost mode, allowing the system to operate even when it is very cold outside.

Ducted Systems

Daikin’s 4 main ducted ranges include: Premium Inverter Ducted Series; Inverter Ducted Series; Slim-Line Ducted Series; Bulkhead Ducted System Series. Hydronic Systems

Daikin’s Hydronic system, the Altherma Bi-Bloc Hydronic Heating Series, provides heating, cooling and hot water for the kitchen, laundry, showers and baths. It is energy efficient, cutting costs and needing less space, as a gas system isn’t required. The hydrobox can be positioned inside the house, which is handy for houses with limited outside space. Overall Daikin's Hydronic Heating range was rated at 3.5 out of 5.

Evaporative Coolers

Kaden has a range of evaporative coolers specifically designed for parts of Australia where humidity and heat are at their peak. This range includes the KL Series – Low Profile Evaporative Cooler 750 - 1000 W and the KC Series – Classic Evaporative Cooler. Both are made to sit discretely on the roof, using materials that are resistant to the Australian environment. Each also comes with optional extras to protect the units from the elements.

Multi Systems

Daikin’s outdoor centralised units, VRV IV-S and SUPER MULTI NX (R32), are ideal for apartment buildings where external space is at a minimum. One unit can control multiple inside air conditioning units. The VRV IV-S multi-systems can cover large spaces of 14 rooms with the SUPER MULTI NX (R32) heating or cooling up to 5 rooms. Air Purifiers

High airflow rates allow Daikin’s air purifying units to work effectively in both small and large spaces with the portable purifiers being suitable for spaces up to 46m². These units can remove pollutants such as bushfire pollution using a fast turbo mode, reducing the triggers for allergies and asthma. A 6-layer filtration system deodorises and purifies the air.
