Was advised by the person I had install my air conditioner who I had a lot of trust in that this air conditioner was the best pick of them all so on his advice I went with it and can say I am glad I took his advice. I am very happy with this one as it seems to do the job with ease and is so quiet and efficient. Would certainly be recommending Daikin to anyone I know wanting to purchase an air conditioner, love it.
I installed the 3.5 kW Daikin US7 as a combined heater and cooler for my new living areas, because of its environmental credentials. I’ve only used it over the winter, so can only comment on its heating efficiency so far, but have found it to be extremely rapid to heat up a room, reasonably quiet in its operation, and definitely cheaper to run than my old ducted gas system. I like the “comfort” setting, so that for heating, the vents point downwards and don’t create too much of a breeze, and when cooling, they oscillate, to help cool further. I had hoped that it might be powerful enough to heat not only the room it’s installed in, but also the adjoining rooms, that are connected through a double archway, but unfortunately this hasn’t been the case. This might be because there’s not enough airflow through this space, even when I use the boost mode, but this is the only reason I’ve why I’ve rated it four rather than five stars.
I only have a small home and was thrilled that it kept the entire house cool was powerful cool and it was easy to set up and program and it had allergic button yay.
