With a wide range of easily programmable controllers and Wi-Fi control, Daikin’s residential units deliver on high performance. Family friendly, certain units include a lock system and temperature limits to avoid accidental waste. The Sensitive Choice program has acknowledged Daikin for their air filtration and purification technology, which assists in reducing airborne allergens.

Seeley International – Braemar residential systems have DC inverter technology, delivering high energy efficiency when compared to conventional air conditioning. They offer a wide variety of residential solutions to heat or cool rooms as required, zoning rooms not in use so electricity is not wasted.

Split Systems

Daikin’s 8 main split system ranges include the US7 Series; Zena Series; Cora Series; Alira Series; Daikin Lite Series; Nexura Series and Floor Standing Series. This range is appropriate for all types of Australian climate, bringing comfort to both small and larger homes. These split systems are energy efficient, with controller options offering high-tech features. 


With a capacity range of 2.5kW to 8.2kW, these systems provide solutions for different sized homes, as well controlling air conditioning within these spaces. Seeley International – Braemar’s split systems generally have DC inverter technology, which maximises the air conditioner’s efficiency. As well as the Infiniti-AireTM wall mounted split system, Seeley International – Braemar’s range includes bulkheads and ceiling cassettes, which are explained further below. Each split system offers DRED (Demand Response Enabling Device) as standard.

Ducted Systems

Daikin’s ducted ranges, include: Premium Inverter Ducted Series; Inverter Ducted Series; Slim-Line Ducted Series; Bulkhead Ducted System Series. Each of these is designed to be compact and efficient, with the new inverter series specifically designed to fit into the tight roof spaces in any modern home or apartment.

Featuring the SBHV Single Ceiling Mounted Cassette, Single Phase Ducted Reverse Cycle and Three Phase Ducted Reverse Cycle, Seeley International - Braemar’s ducted system range is designed with stain resistant and easy to clean panel coating. A Condensate Pump, standard on most units, provides more efficient water use and more options for installation. With a choice between single and three phase, Seeley International - Braemar’s ducted system provides the technology for both larger and smaller homes to receive comfort.

Hydronic Systems

Handy for houses with limited outside space, the Altherma Bi-Bloc Hydronic Heating Series provides heating, cooling and hot water for the kitchen, laundry, showers and baths. This system offers energy efficiency, needing less space, as a gas system isn’t required. Daikin's Hydronic Heating range received a rating of 3.5 out of 5 overall.

Multi Systems

Daikin’s outdoor centralised units include the VRV IV-S and SUPER MULTI NX (R32). VRV IV-S multi-systems can cover large spaces of up to 14 rooms while the SUPER MULTI NX (R32) can cover up to 5 rooms. which are ideal for apartment buildings where external space is at a minimum. Daikin’s multi-system units can feature purification and sensors, depending on the inside unit. Overall, this range was rated at 4 out of 5.

Air Purifiers

Suitable for spaces up to 46m², Daikin’s portable air purifiers quickly remove pollutants using a turbo mode. Utilising a 6-layer filtration system, this reduces the triggers for allergies and asthma while deodorising the air.

Daikin’s air purifying units utilise high airflow rates to work effectively in both small and large spaces. Daikin’s Air Purifier Series received a rating of 4.5 out of 5.

Smart Control Solutions

Convenient and intelligent, Daikin’s smart control solutions were rated 4.5 out of 5 by our review team. Daikin’s smart phone app allows remote control and monitoring of air conditioning usage. It allows users to schedule air conditioning around your lifestyle, meaning you can set it to pre-cool or heat and come home to a comfortable environment.

Evaporative Cooling

Seeley International – Braemar’s evaporative cooling systems are effective in hot and humid areas. It does not dry out the air, making it gentler for skin and allergies. Run on water, the system is more environmentally friendly than one with chemical refrigerants. Seeley International – Braemar’s build these units with durable equipment and protection for winter months. The range includes the Braemar Evolution, Braemar Paradigm and Braemar Superstealth Invertair. These received an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5.

Window Wall AC

Seeley International – Braemar’s window wall range provides a competent cooling and heating system for smaller spaces, for example in a caravan or a home where a single room gets hotter or colder than the others. The range has 2 options – the R32 Reverse Cycle or R32 Cooling Only. For comfort an Auto Mode fan speed automatically adjusts air conditioning output as the room temperature changes. These units received an overall rating of 4 out of 5 as they are quite efficient and designed to keep working under the harsh Australian climate.

They can be used in environments as diverse as hotels, schools, apartment blocks, health centres and shopping centres. These solutions are designed to be durable and powerful, with Seeley International – Braemar’s VRF Heat Recovery Unit delivering a capacity of up to 45.0kW.

Split Systems

Daikin and Seeley International – Braemar offer wall or floor standing split system options to meet a range of commercial needs, from kitchens to retail outlets.  Dakin’s range is extensive, including the Super Multi NX (R32) L-Series, DTXF-T Series, Cora Series, Daikin Lite, Floor Standing Series, Nexura Series (Floor Standing) and US7 Series. Seeley International – Braemar’s range includes Floor Ceiling Type Unit, a Low Wall Console Unit and a Wall Mounted Inverter Split System.

Seeley International – Braemar’s split systems feature intelligent communications systems and a mildew-proof filter, with electrostatic and antibiotic fibre to remove dust, bacteria and mildew. Overall, the review team rated Daikin's range at 4 out of 5 and Seeley International – Braemar at 4.5 out of 5.

Cassette Systems

Daikin’s commercial ducted units are part of their Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) range, as discussed below. They have a variety of capacities up to 16.0 kW.

Seeley International - Braemar have produced 1, 2 and 4-way cassettes and an AHU Kit, allowing flexible installation where wall space is limited. Seeley International – Braemar’s units are designed with easy cleaning access to keep the system running smoothly for longer.

For their flexibility and durability, we rated Seeley International – Braemar’s Cassette Systems 4 out of 5. As indicated in the VRF section, Daikin’s range were also rated 4 out of 5.

Ducted Systems

Seeley International – Braemar’s ducted systems offer Smart Features such as an Intelligent Auto Reset during power failures and real time monitoring of unit operation status. There are 4 ranges to choose from including; Bulkhead Ducted Unit, High Static Pressure, Duct Type Indoor Unit, High Static Pressure, Low Profile Duct Type Unit and Low Static Pressure, Duct Type Indoor Unit. These have a capacity of up to 28 kW, making them ideal for large rooms.

The high static pressure range is suitable for places in need of long-distance airflow, such as classrooms and laboratories. We rated this diverse Seeley International – Braemar’s range 4.5 out of 5.

Evaporative Cooling

Seeley International – Braemar’s evaporative cooling units are moulded from UV stabilised structural polymer, delivering long, corrosion-free life. Seeley International – Braemar’s evaporative cooling selection is diverse with optional extras and includes; the EA Series, Enviromagic Series, Mobile Max Series, RPA Series, RPB Series and RPCQI Series. As the name suggests, the Mobile Max unit is useful for those who may move around within a large but limited space.

VRV/VRF Systems

Daikin’s VRV systems offer climate management solutions for a commercial environment. This group includes units such as Gas Heat Pump Outdoor Unit, VRV Air Handling Unit Series, VRV H Heat Pump, VRV III-Q Outdoor Unit, VRV IV Water Cooling Outdoor Unit and the VRV IV-S. Seeley International – Braemar has 3 VRF systems including the Outside Air Processing Indoor Unit, VRF Heat Pump - MCHX Series 5th Generation and VRF Heat Recovery - 5th Generation.

Seeley International – Braemar’s units feature sensor malfunction, water overflow, anti-freezing and fan motor overload protections that should extend the life of the unit.

These units are designed to work with indoor units on large sites, for example shopping malls and office blocks etc. Built to handle higher capacities, Daikin’s VRV units were rated 4 out of 5, with Seeley International – Braemar’s units also scoring 4 out of 5 for their improved environmental efficiency.

VRV Indoor Units

Daikin’s VRV Indoor Units come in 18 different options. These include wall mounted, bulkhead, cassettes and air processing units. This part of Daikin's range was given a score of 4 out of 5. These units are versatile and can become part of a tailored solution for new properties or refurbishments

Controllers

These systems can control zone behaviour, offer weekly programming and be adjusted to account for spaces that are periodically unoccupied. Options include an iTouch Manager Centralised Controller, Individual control systems and BACNet / LonWorks Interface.

Individual controllers and optional Wi-Fi control are available for smaller spaces, with interfaces being available for large systems that have many units connected. Daikin's impressive commercial controller range was scored at 4.5 out of 5 overall.

Applied Solutions

Daikin’s Applied Solutions include a flexible range of Air Cooled Chillers and Water Cooled Chillers. These are designed to deliver precise control of process cooling and climate management.

Light Commercial Applications

Daikin’s Light Commercial Applications are designed to be used in smaller commercial spaces like shops, restaurants and small offices. Packaged Solutions

Daikin have developed Rooftop packaged units to suit commercial applications. These are designed for easy installation and can be expanded as necessary. These systems include a powder coated drain pan for corrosion resistance. Our review team rated these Packaged Systems 4 out of 5.
