Fujitsu and Samsung offer a wide range of residential products to deliver comfort to different kinds of environments and spaces.

Both Fujitsu and Samsung units are equipped with a Human Sensor to save power. This automates a switch to power saving mode, allowing households to save energy and expenditure. This means power is not being wasted if you leave a room.

Split Systems

Split systems are generally the most popular type of air conditioning unit. Fujitsu’s split system units have a number of energy efficient solutions, making comfort more affordable. Their selection incorporates the Classic Series, Designer Series, Lifestyle Series (Cooling only) and Lifestyle Series (Heating and Cooling). Fujitsu offer units of differing capacities, to suit various spaces. These units offer up to 30% more efficiency than conventional fixed speed units.

Samsung’s split system range, the stylish Boracay Series, is easy to operate; they can also be run via an app. Conveniently an auto clean function runs the fan on low speed for a period of time when the unit is turned off, keeping the indoor unit dry to minimise bacteria growth. Fujitsu’s split systems are also good for those who have allergies, using static electricity to pull pollutants from the air.

Samsung’s split systems feature a ‘Triangle’ design that facilitates huge air intake and wide air output. These systems are quiet and unobtrusive.

Ducted Systems

Fujitsu's ducted systems have filters that use static electricity to clean fine particles and dust that are too small to see, including tobacco smoke and plant pollen. These ducted systems are economical, energy efficient and effective against bacteria growth.

Samsung’s ducted systems are engineered to be unobtrusive, with conditioned air distributed through ducts hidden in the roof space. They have a range of capacities to cover both small and larger houses. This series has Wi-Fi control so your Samsung ducted series can be programmed, monitored and adjusted remotely with precision. The range includes the units; S - 1 and 3 phase - indoor, S 1 phase – outdoor, S 3 phase - indoor, S – 3 Phase - outdoor 2, S - 3 phase – outdoor.

Fujitsu’s Cassette Range units are available in high and low capacities. They are also built to be discreet; fitting under the ceiling with only the grille showing. These cassettes are designed to deliver an even temperature distribution and wide airflow. Energy consumption can be controlled without loss of comfort, using a weekly timer, sleep timer and economy mode. Fujitsu’s cassette units have a removable grille and louvres that can be wiped down, making cleaning easy.

Fujitsu’s ducted systems range was rated at 3.5 out of 5 while Samsung’s range scored higher at 4 out of 5.

Multi-Systems

Multi-systems allow users to control and monitor the temperatures of multiple indoor units, powering them by using just one outdoor unit. This is particularly useful in spaces such as apartments, with very little outdoor space.

Fujitsu’s range features an Inverter Multi and Multi System Series, with capacities of 2.3kW to 8kW which were rated 4 out 5 by our review team. These can be matched to numerous indoor units, to find the best air conditioner to suit your space. Fujitsu’s multi systems have energy saving settings, cutting down on electricity. Rooms can be heated or cooled separately; rooms not in use can have their units off.

The Samsung single multi outdoor unit, the FJM, utilises available space well, connecting to up to 5 indoor units. These outdoor units deliver fast, even temperature control, with an impressive 360-degree airflow that minimises hot spots and cold spots. The series enables easy and low-cost installation with Samsung also receiving an overall rating of at 4 out of 5.

Split Systems

With an innovative an energy saving setting, Fujitsu’s commercial split system units allow the set temperature of the indoor unit to change by just one degree intervals, limiting the maximum energy usage of the air conditioner. Fujitsu’s commercial selection offers the same choice as their residential range. This incorporates the Classic Series, Designer Series, Lifestyle Series (Cooling only) and Lifestyle Series (Heating and Cooling). These units have a wide range of applications for both small and larger spaces from a small shop to a boardroom. Fujitsu have been developing these systems for over 35 years, utilising state of the art technology to deliver products that can provide the most comfortable environment possible. This range covers a diverse range of projects and was rated a 4 out of 5 by our review team.

Cassette Systems

While not the cheapest of units, Fujitsu’s energy saving features may even this out. For these systems Fujitsu received a rating of 4 out of 5.

Multi Systems

These systems can be connected to a compact outdoor unit to power up to six indoor units simultaneously, with independent control. Fujitsu’s offer 14 models ranging in capacity from 2.3kW to 8kW, providing a combination to suit almost any need in commercial spaces. Fujitsu’s Inverter Multi and Multi System Series also remain energy efficient even if operating just one indoor unit at low capacity. This range was rated 4 out of 5.

Ducted Systems

Samsung’s commercial ducted systems were rated 4 out of 5, with a range from 5.2kW to 20.0kW in capacity, and can thereby be used for a multitude of projects. Ducted units are hidden in the roof space, making them relatively discrete. Their range covers the units; S - 1 and 3 phase - indoor, S 1 phase – outdoor, S 3 phase - indoor, S – 3 Phase - outdoor 2, S - 3 phase – outdoor. Samsung’s range reduces drafts / hot spots and maximise airflow to increase comfort.

Ceiling/Floor Console Range

Designed for homes with minimal wall space, Fujitsu’s Ceiling/floor console range can be installed on the floor or under the ceiling, with floor consoles providing easy access in terms of installation or maintenance.
