Have had the LG WH24SL-18 (7.1kW) and the WH09SK-18 (2.5kW) installed recently.
Must say I am impressed with the quick cooling from these units and they are also internet ready straight out of the box.
I have 2 Mitsubishi units of same kWh capacity and they don’t come close to cooling performance compared to the LG’s.
Also the ability to operate from an app on my phone is terrific ! The app shows both the room temp and A/C set temp for both units and is well thought out with all the setting options required.
We are yet to see the very high summer temps, but they have already showed they will be a good unit during summer.
Units were bought from ‘Air Conditioning Warehouse Sales’ at Underwood, QLD.
Only wish I had bought the LG’s instead of the Mitsubishi’s for my first 2 units, but then that’s what happens when you listen to sales people instead of doing the research first.
I installed this unit right before Winter and have used both warming and cooling functions. The unit is quiet and efficient, and does a perfect job of warming and cooling the room as required.
My only gripe is the mobile app that controls the unit via Wi-Fi. As this is installed in my toddler’s room, it would be great if any changes to settings via the app would be silent and not “beep”.
After it was professionally installed the set-up is so simple. connecting Wi-Fi is a little tricky but once connected it works with Google Home smart devices and has its own handy app that lets you control the aircon from anywhere and provides a display showing the rooms temp and power consumption. was delighted about the 10 year warranty.
