The new ducted fan coil unit allows separation of the indoor unit heat exchanger and the fan deck assembly for easier handling in the roof space.
Improvements have been made to fan blades and the grille shape to the outdoor unit, meaning it’s even quieter when in low noise mode.
Advanced inverter technologies and cutting-edge electronics work together to achieve a synergistic effect that enables improvements in heating/cooling performance.
Enables increased energy efficiency and a significant reduction in 'Global Warming Potential Factor' - great for the environmentally conscious.
The setting temperature can be raised by as much as 2°C without any loss in comfort, resulting in a 20% energy efficiency gain. (Function only available during manual cooling operation.)
The direct intake of fresh exterior air enhances indoor air quality

Had this aircon installed for a week now. 37° today and had temp set to 24° inside and the air coming out was very chilly. Outside unit very quiet, is right near one of our bedrooms and can only hear minor whine, no fan noise. Wall controller easy to use and we also have Wi-Fi connected, which is convenient.
Aircon uses approx 16A or 3.6kWh when running which is about $1.10 hour in Perth (standard Synergy tariff @ $0.30 incl GST).
Cooling performance is satisfactory and in line with the power rating.
The airflow from the unit is a strong jet, which is uncomfortable even 5 metres away so you need to be careful to aim it away from where you sit or stand for any length of time. A more diffused flow would be nicer.
Inside unit is very quiet; only noticeable when fan speed increases.
Our builder suggested this model for our new kitchen/dining area which has a >4m elevated ceiling – so we have a lot of air to circulate. We are very pleased so far – it cools the area very quickly and is very quiet. (PS for logistic considerations: we originally planned to mount the unit to an external wall but the sheer size and weight of the unit prevented this – something to think about).
