Mitsubishi Heavy Industries – FDUA Series (High Static Pressure)

Outstanding High Capacity Air Conditioner

After some research, I decided upon having the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries FDUA200AVSAVG system installed to replace our 19 YO Temperzone 22KW Unit. The Temperzone was operating to spec but we were looking for more efficiency and convenience that modern inverters can provide.

My reasons for choosing the FDUA200AVSAVG were:

1. It uses less electricity for a given output than most other units I had considered at the price point.
2. The wide operating range of the inverter,
3. The extra massive cooling /heating capacity over similar spec competition
4. Low noise of both internal and external units.

Since the new installation was commissioned, it has exceeded my expectations. The cooling /heating effectiveness surprised me, not only by the speed and effectiveness that it can air-condition the house, but by how efficiently it does it without having to ramp up to full power. It still has to face 40+ degree heat next summer, but it has already proved to be noticeably superior to the 22KW Temperzone, which itself coped very well in extreme heat.

We are very, very happy with it. It is fast and effective with both the heating and cooling. We have open living and it does not take long for the large area to warm up.

Comfortable Living

Our Air Con has been cooling our Summer temps and warming us up now through Winter with fuss free performance and efficient capability. It’s extremely easy to use and quietly goes about doing its work. the controls are very clear to understand and work with a minimum of effort.
