It heats really well. It has no moving parts, so it’s completely silent. It replaced a gas heater. I prefer this one over the gas heater, because there’s no gas leak and it doesn’t produce carbon monoxide nor carbon dioxide inside the house which is safer in my opinion. It plugs into a standard power outlet which means it can easily be relocated as required. I only had gas bottles for the gas heater. By the time you factor in the cost of renting cylinders, I haven’t found this to be any dearer to run than the gas heater anyway.
This panel heater warms the air with a really natural heat, if you’re nearby you wouldn’t even know why this room was so nice and warm. But although it is the most powerful watts in the range, it is never going to heat a large room, so make sure you know exactly what to expect when you buy, the sales people at GG were very good about explaining where they suited.
We had it on continuously for 4 days and nights and kept the house humming at 18 to 20 degrees.
