Compare Air Conditioning Terms and Conditions
In these Terms, ‘Compare Air Conditioning’, ‘us’, ‘we’ and ‘our’ means Compare Air Con. Pty Ltd (ABN 85 619 075 053).
We are a comparison site for finding the best air conditioning units and installation services in Australia. We are not a manufacturer of air conditioning products or an installer.
Please note that we have not compared every air conditioning product or installation company operating in the market. Before you act on any information and guidance that we provide to you, you should consider and evaluate your personal needs, objectives and situation in order to determine which air conditioning installation company suits you.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim any liability resulting from the acts, omissions or defaults of The Good Guys or any third party who installs The Good Guys products.
Liability shall rest with The Good Guys or any other appropriate third party provider and shall not under any circumstance be deemed to rest with us. It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that you wish to obtain any product or service before doing so.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, including Australian Consumer Law, we disclaim any liability resulting from the provision of services by us and in no event shall we be liable for any indirect loss, damage or expense – irrespective of the manner in which it occurs – which may be suffered due to your use of our website, the information or materials contained on it and/or information or materials you received from us.
Without limiting the application of the exclusions and limitations outlined above, to the extent permitted by applicable law, under no circumstances will Compare Air Conditioning or any of its directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors or representatives be liable to you for any of the following losses or damage (whether such losses or damager were foreseen, foreseeable, known or otherwise and whether such losses or damages arise in contract, negligence or tort, or otherwise): (a) loss of data; (b) loss of revenue or anticipated profits; (c) loss of business; (d) loss of opportunity; (e) loss of goodwill or injury to reputation; (f) losses suffered by third parties; or (g) any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of the Compare Air Conditioning service regardless of the form of action.

About your installation

What’s included and not included
The installation price quoted is indicative and may vary depending on your location or if you require something not included in a standard installation
What’s included: Installation of a new AC circuit; up to 15m compliant electrical cable; AC isolator adjacent to outdoor unit; 3m refrigerant copper piping; 3m required interconnecting cables; 2.4m pipe capping; 2.4m drainage pipe; operation test on completion of installation; basic product demonstration; cleaning of work area; supply of required certificate of compliance.
What isn’t include: Travel beyond 30km from store of purchase, wall mounting brackets, poly or concrete mounting slab, roof mounting bracket, Copper/electrical cable/interconnecting cable/ drainage pipe over & above the included limits, electrical conduit, power board upgrades, solid wall core hole penetration, double brick penetration, removal & replacement of tin roofing, roof space cable runs, internal wall installation works, condensate pumps, PVC caps & elbows, cost of access machinery if required, removal of an old A/C
